Never have had one of these before, and this one is in nice condition. The Trails End store in Des Moines Iowa closed it's doors in 1974 as I recall, so none have been made since that time. Trails end was pretty famous for it's well made saddles and tack, I shopped in the store myself, but could never afford one of there saddles. I've got one now, and it's a sturdy roper type saddle that was being used, I had to clean the mud off it when I took it in on a trade. It's sound, heavy built and fully tooled, even the oversized roper stirrups are tooled to match the saddle.Silver horn cap stamped, behind the cantle stamped and even the ends of both stirrup leathers are stamped Trails End maker. Number under the skirt reads 07252 for the last 5, and I can't read the first two numbers. Saddle looks all original, it's not perfect, but pretty good and could go right back to work or in a collection. Priced at $695 Call or email for more pics or info.
