Collectors or trail riders, here is a great saddle at a reasonable price. You don't find many of the vintage buckstitched saddles in this kind of condition with really no faults that I can see. Distinctive design, deep tooling, buckstitching all bright and intact and even the rear billets have it. A 15 inch deep padded seat and full bars. Looks all original. Fleece is 100% and saddle shows very little if any use. I am tempted to call it a Big Horn brand, but can't find the Big Horn stamp, it could be an American Saddlery, but it is certainly American made and top quality. Has the numbers 1212 on the latigo keeper and 1213 stamped behind the cantle. Has a horsehead nicely tooled on each side fender and jockey's. I would say it's a 70's or late 60's series, not asking a lot at only $295 and this is one that could be worth some money down the road. I also have some nice buckstitched breast collars and halters on hand, just can't resist buying some of the good equipment from that era.
